Kardashian returns as Allura Grant in the series following an all-female law firm.
Kim Kardashian modeled a wild animal print at the “All’s Fair” season two premiere in Rome on Saturday courtesy of her archival Saint Laurent look, so she toned things down when it came to her Christian Louboutin shoes.
Kardashian, who returns to play Allura Grant in the series following an all-female law firm, attended the premiere at the Rome Film Festival alongside her castmates and her mother Kris Jenner, who wore Elizabeth Taylor’s Scorpio Cape. She fully embraced the animal print trend with a fall 1986 haute couture Yves Saint Laurent look featuring allover leopard print, from the strapless dress to the accompanying scarf. The look came from Lily et Cie.
While the animal print trend has certainly made its way to the footwear market with everything from big cat prints to reptilian prints, Kardashian veered away from the aesthetic for her shoes. She opted instead to coordinate the brown and black leopard print palette with black patent leather pumps from Christian Louboutin. She wore the French luxury label’s La Pigalle style, a classic pointed-toe stiletto pump, which is the updated version of the brand’s popular Pigalle pump.
Christian Louboutin reintroduced the Pigalle as La Pigalle this year, more than two decades after it first hit the market. The Pigalle debuted in 2004 and is named for Paris’ Pigalle district, where founder Christian Louboutin interned as a teenager at Folies Bergère. He was entranced by the poise of the cabaret dancers, and this would go on to inform the design of the Pigalle, featuring an elongated silhouette intended to extend the leg, refine posture and quietly transform the wearer and how she carries herself.
