Kate Middleton introduced a few new pieces to her wardrobe for her visit to The Commons, Belfast, in Northern Ireland on Friday. The Princess of Wales is known to recycle her go-to shoes and dresses, showing the importance of building a closet full of timeless designs.
The royal has heavily relied on a handful of brands to build her princess-worthy style, and Gianvito Rossi has been her right-hand man when it comes to footwear. She rarely deviates from wearing his shoe designs and is a known fan of the Italian shoe designer’s suede pumps and boots. For the Ireland outing, she opted for a new pair of glossy leather black pumps.
For the royal visit, she wore the Gianvito Rossi Gianvito 85. The classic style is a pointed-toe pump that has become the shoe brand’s signature style over the years. The silhouette is enhanced by an elegantly cut vamp that flatters the foot and elongates the leg. They stand tall on an 85-mm stiletto heel, which is 3.3 inches. The shoes are handmade in Italy from 100 percent calf leather.
The shoes are also available in a 105-mm heel height and in an array of colors and textures, like green, brown, white, red, burgundy, in patent leather, suede and more. The suede styles are a go-to for Middleton, and she has worn them repeatedly over the years while she fulfills her royal duties.
She braved the rain during the visit in the black pumps paired with a green and black Emilia Wickstead Kensie Checked Wool-Blend Midi Skirt, which is also a new addition to her closet.
