GXO is preparing to make a big push into Asia, with the contract logistics provider expecting to accelerate its business further in the region in 2027.
Asia currently generates less than $100 million in annual revenue for GXO, according to CEO Patrick Kelleher, against roughly $6 billion in the U.K. and $3.5 billion to $4 billion in North America.
“There’s no reason why Asia can’t be the size of one of those regions,” Kelleher told Sourcing Journal, noting that current customers have been asking GXO to follow them into the region.
“We’re having success selling there right now,” Kelleher said. Late last month, GXO unveiled the opening of a strategic logistics hub in Malaysia, offering the benefits of a free trade zone (FTZ) alongside direct connectivity to major manufacturing centers, ports and airports in the region. The company also has a presence in Singapore and Thailand.
On GXO’s Wednesday earnings call, Kelleher discussed the Asia opportunity when asked about growing its pipeline, noting that the third-party logistics (3PL) provider has been generating new customers on the continent, with the footprint “including data centers, by the way.”
GXO groups the Americas and Asia Pacific regions together in its financial statements but said the new business wins across the combined segments has already exceeded those of 2025.
“We are winning larger, more complex mandates than we were a year ago,” Kelleher said in the investor call.
