Burberry and Farfetch alum Giorgio Belloli was appointed to the role, succeeding Danilo Piarulli.
MILAN — Golden Goose has named Giorgio Belloli its new chief consumer officer.
A Burberry and Farfetch alum, Belloli is tasked with leading global market and channel development, defining the strategic direction and governance models to enhance the brand’s international footprint. As part of his role, the executive will also oversee the CRM, digital channels and omnichannel strategies.
He succeeds Danilo Piarulli, who departed the luxury brand earlier this year to become chief executive officer of Autry, as reported.
“I always define myself as chief emotional officer rather than chief executive officer, and I found in Giorgio Belloli the right person to support me in leading the shift from a global product brand into a cultural brand, with a strong emphasis on people and communities. With his experience, he will evolve our omnichannel strategy toward omnipresence. In his new role as chief consumer officer, Giorgio will scale co-creation and make our stores even more experiential for consumers,” said Silvio Campara, CEO of Golden Goose.
The brand operates 230 stores globally, including recently opened units in Athens, Rome and Istanbul. In 2026, Golden Goose opened its first Younique Caffé in Europe, in Milan’s Brera district, with a listening bar section and launched the new seasonal concept “Frutteria Golden,” inspired by the traditional Italian fruit market. This was first introduced at Selfridges’ Corner Shop in London, and then brought to select resort locations, including Naples and Forte dei Marmi, in Tuscany over the summer.
