The luxury brand nabbed the 10th spot on the roundup of hottest brands for the third quarter, and the Celine x Reebok Freestyle Lo is number three on the list of hottest products.
Under the creative direction of Michael Rider, the luxury brand moved its way up the Lyst Index’s roundup of the hottest brands for the third quarter of 2026, nabbing the number 10 spot; it climbed five places, earning a place in the top 10 for the first time.
The newest Lyst Index was unveiled the day after Rider received the 2026 WWD Honor for Menswear Designer of the Year at the annual gala event WWD Honors, which took place at Cipriani South Street in Manhattan this year.
Celine’s catapult up the list can be attributed in part to a buzzy partnership with Reebok and an eye-catching men’s spring 2027 show.
The Celine/Reebok Freestyle Lo, a lambskin leather version of a classic Reebok sneaker, earned the number three spot on the Lyst’s hottest products roundup. Released in September after a June runway debut in the men’s show, the sneakers proved popular and difficult to purchase as certain sizes and colors were quickly scooped off the market.
The Celine/Reebok Freestyle Lo is presented in eight colorways including Optic White, Black, Butter, Beige, Peanut, Dark Brown, Oxblood and Fluo Red. The tie-up encompasses the distressed “Alldayeveryday” version in Optic White, priced at $850, featuring a “worn-out effect.”
“There’s something strange to me about a brand-new shoe,” Rider said backstage after the spring 2027 men’s show, when asked about the weathered sneakers that completed some of the looks.
