ChatGPT Ads expands to Southeast Asia and Taiwan

ChatGPT Ads expands to seven additional markets across Asia and is now available in more than 60 countries.

Starting today, ChatGPT Ads will begin rolling out across Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Taiwan. This announcement follows Asia Pacific launches in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea and India, expanding access for businesses of all sizes across the region.

Advertisers can access ChatGPT Ads through the OpenAI Ads Solutions team, agency partners including dentsu, Havas Media, Omnicom Media, Publicis Groupe and WPP, and technology partners. Self-service access through Ads Manager(opens in a new window) is also available for eligible businesses.

Our mission is to ensure that artificial general intelligence benefits all of humanity, and Ads help democratize access to intelligence by supporting free and low-cost access to ChatGPT. As in our existing markets, ads will be shown only to users on the Free and Go plans. Plus, Pro, and Enterprise subscriptions will remain ad-free.

People come to ChatGPT with goals. They might be planning a trip, choosing software for their business, or furnishing a home. Through conversation, people explain what they want to accomplish, what matters to them, and the constraints they face.

ChatGPT Ads give marketers an opportunity to reach people as they explore and evaluate their options. By introducing relevant products and services, ads can be useful in the moments that spur discovery and shape decisions.

Protecting the trust people place in ChatGPT is foundational to our approach to advertising.

Guided by OpenAI’s ads principles , we keep conversations private from advertisers and never sell customer data.
