Hacker group ShinyHunters defaces FBI recruitment website, FBI subsequently takes it offline for maintenance

PANews, September 23 - According to a post on X by SlowMist CISO @im23pds, the hacker group ShinyHunters defaced the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) recruitment website apply.fbijobs[.]gov on the evening of September 21, replacing the page with a message reading "This site has been taken over by ShinyHunters." The FBI subsequently took the website offline, displaying "Under maintenance."
