Fed, ECB and BOJ interest-rate decisions, Coinbase earnings: Crypto Week Ahead

Crypto Week Ahead is a comprehensive list of what's coming up in the world of cryptocurrencies and blockchain, as well as the major macroeconomic events that will influence digital asset markets.

The Federal Reserve and Bank of Canada set interest rates on Wednesday, followed by the European Central Bank on Thursday and the Bank of Japan on Friday. However, it’s not the figure itself that will attract attention. Rather, the focus will be on what policymakers such as Fed Chair Kevin Warsh have to say.

“Traders are currently less focused on the specific rate decision and more interested in any statements from Warsh regarding the upcoming December meeting,” MEXC CEO Vugar Usi Zade told CoinDesk. “Since keeping rates steady is already priced into market expectations, such a move is unlikely to serve as a significant positive catalyst.”

Galaxy Digital , Robinhood Markets , Coinbase Global and Strategy report earnings alongside PayPal and Mastercard (MA) in a busy earnings week for Wall Street that could turn volatile.
