Bitcoin Cash printed a 24-hour range of $257.40 to $286.90 before settling at $275.10, down 4.11%, according to Binance spot data. The move is meaningful in context: price is now sandwiched between the 50-day SMA at $273.95—which is providing thin near-term floor—and a cluster of overhead averages starting at the immediate resistance level of $288.87. Binance spot volume registered $15.22 million over the 24-hour period, which is a data point rather than a signal on its own, but it frames the move as coming on measurable, if not exceptional, activity.
The moving-average stack tells a straightforwardly bearish story. BCH trades below the SMA 7 ($279.29), SMA 20 ($305.91), SMA 200 ($299.54), EMA 12 ($288.12) and EMA 26 ($288.38). The only exception is the SMA 50 at $273.95, which the price is resting just above. When an asset trades beneath its 7-, 20-, and 200-day averages simultaneously, the path of least resistance from a pure trend perspective is downward unless a catalyst closes those gaps.
The momentum picture is more nuanced than the moving averages alone suggest. 73, squarely in neutral territory—neither confirming strong selling conviction nor flashing a capitulation extreme. 68, placing both lines in the oversold zone below 30.
