Amy Poehler reunited with Parks & Rec creator Mike Schur for a new sitcom, Dig, one of the big titles arriving to Peacock this month.
Peacock is home to some of the most addictive original reality series out there, including The Traitors, Love Island and House of Villains. It’s also the streaming home to Bravo franchises such as The Real Housewives, Summer House and Top Chef. And while the platform boasts a fantastic roster of unscripted TV, you can also find incredible scripted shows includingThe Miniature Wife, The Five Star Weekend and more.
With its vast library spanning every genre and an expanding slate of original and exclusive content, it seems like there’s always something new to try — or old favorites to rediscover. This month, Amy Poehler and her Parks & Recreation collaborator Mike Schur are back with a new series, Dig, about a group of archaeologists who stumble on a rare find during an excavation in Greece. Another hot title arriving this month is The Good Daughter, a drama starring Meghann Fahey and Rose Byrne based on the novel by Karin Slaughter.
That show arrives alongside several great films that will be available exclusively on Peacock this month, including the entire Hunger Games franchise and the historical drama The Uprising. Here’s a look at what we’re excited to stream on Peacock this month.
Paul Greengrass directed the historical drama The Uprising, set in 14th-century England and chronicling the Peasants’ Revolt, a rebellion against King Richard II. Jamie Bell and Cosmo Jarvis portray the revolt’s main leaders, John Ball and Wat Tyler, while it’s implied that Andrew Garfield’s character, a fictional plowman, would go on to become the man who inspired Robin Hood.
