If you're looking to upgrade an aging streaming setup or you're already too deep in the Apple ecosystem to turn back, preorders for the next-gen Apple TV are officially live.

You can lock in the Apple TV 4K (4th generation) on Amazon for $289.99 right now, with units scheduled to ship on Nov. 13. That's about $10 less than the $299 price at Apple.

This 2026 model has a few notable upgrades, including a shiny new A19 chip. It boosts CPU processing speed by 50 percent, making menu navigation, app switching, and animations feel seamless. It also has Siri AI, which uses Apple Intelligence to process more natural, conversational requests. And thanks to far-field microphones built directly into the device, you can control playback or search for shows hands-free by talking to the room.

Perhaps the most practical improvement is the remote.
