Already have an iPhone and MacBook? An iMac will fit just right into your Apple setup. It’ll give you a desktop experience without giving up the convenience of your already established ecosystem. The powerful desktop can handle most work and creative tasks with ease, plus a little gaming. But its price is now higher as a result of Apple’s recent price hike across its lineup. That can be a deterrent, but we’ve done the legwork and found the best deals to undercut the hike.

You don’t always have to pay full price, though the direct discounts are thin right now. We’ve still found other deals like trade-in offers to help soften the out-of-pocket costs. The latest M4 iMac is our overall favorite desktop this year, and it’s even better if you can pick one up for less.

The new M4 chip is even faster, and Apple has (slightly) tweaked the colors you can choose from, too. The new Macs support Apple Intelligence and will work with the latest MacOS software for years to come. With the price increase, the iMac now starts at $1,499 for the eight-core CPU and GPU model and at $1,699 for the 10-core CPU and GPU model. This is a $200 hike from its previous price of $1,299.
