Tecno is preparing to expand its Spark smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the Spark 50S 5G on October 16. The company has started teasing the upcoming phone on social media, offering a first look at its design and colour options. The launch is scheduled for 12 noon.

In a post on X, Tecno Mobile India described the handset as the ‘5G Ka Dhurandhar’ and shared glimpses of the phone's rear design. The teaser shows a horizontal camera visor at the top of the back panel. The company has yet to reveal its full specifications.

"Aasmaan ke taare utar aaye zameen par. Miliye TECNO SPARK 50S se - 5G Ka Dhurandhar. Launching on 16th October, 12 Noon," the company posted on X.

The Tecno Spark 50S 5G has been teased in two colour options: Burgundy Red and Breeze Blue. The red variant features a deep, reddish finish, while the blue version has a lighter shade with a reflective appearance. Both models feature a horizontal rear camera module.

The design appears similar to that of the Spark 50, although the company has not confirmed the camera configuration, materials or dimensions of the new handset.

Tecno has not announced the Spark 50S 5G's display, processor, camera specifications, battery capacity or charging capabilities. It is also unclear whether the phone will share hardware with the existing Spark 50 5G or introduce changes of its own.

The Tecno Spark 50 5G launched in India at ₹17,499 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant.
