President Trump will host tech and AI leaders, including Nvidia's Jensen Huang and Tesla's Elon Musk, to launch America.gov, a new government website.

President Donald Trump will host an event with tech and AI leaders on Tuesday to launch a new government website, as his administration faces pressure to adopt new guardrails for the use of artificial intelligence. The new website, America.gov, is designed to help Americans access federal information and resources currently spread among numerous agencies, according to a White House official, who spoke on condition of anonymity to share details on the initiative. The all-day event will also include panel discussions on AI, energy dominance, health, space and agriculture, the official added. Among those expected to participate are Nvidia Corp.’s Jensen Huang, Tesla Inc.’s Elon Musk and Tom Brown, co-founder of Anthropic PBC, according to a press release. They’ll be joined by Vice President JD Vance and other officials, including Airbnb Inc. co-founder Joe Gebbia, who, as head of the National Design Studio, has a lead role in redesigning government processes. Gebbia told Fox News Digital, which first reported the event, that a new AI tool would help Americans more easily access government help.

The administration’s embrace of AI comes even as the technology faces renewed scrutiny as leading industry figures warn of a credible threat to humanity if models are allowed to develop without more safeguards. Trump has dismissed those calls, insisting that he will not slow AI development amid a US race with China to dominate in the rapidly developing field.
