T-Mobile is still giving away the Apple iPhone 17 for free — how to qualify

TL;DR: Get a free iPhone 17e when you sign up for a T-Mobile plan, with no trade-in required. Alternatively, get the iPhone 17 for under $100 from T-Mobile when you switch to T-Mobile and bring your number on an Experience More or Experience Beyond plan.

Apple is going extremely hard right now. In recent weeks, we've had new iPhones, MacBooks, and iPads. What are you supposed to do with all these new product launches? Check out the best deals on older models, of course.

For those interested in investing in the Apple iPhone 17, we recommend checking out T-Mobile. The popular carrier is offering another "free iPhone" deal this week.

You can switch to almost any T-Mobile plan and get a free iPhone 17e with no trade-in required. Alternatively, you can score the iPhone 17 for under $100 when signing up for a 36-month Experience More or Experience Beyond plan. T-Mobile will charge taxes on these free deals, as well as a $35 device connection fee. That's mildly irritating, but that's how it often goes with this kind of deal.

It's important to note that the Experience More and Experience Beyond plans are designed for power users who want 4K streaming, massive hotspot data, and the best international roaming. It therefore comes with a higher monthly bill than more limited plans. They do include perks like Apple TV+ and Netflix, which help offset some of that cost.

The iPhone 17 is the first base model built specifically to handle Apple’s most advanced AI features.
