SwitchBot’s New Adorably Tiny Robovac Has Twice the Suction Power of Its Predecessor

SwitchBot has released the Robot Vacuum K11+ Pro, the latest in its line of miniature self-emptying robovacs. It costs the same $400 as the K11+ that came before it, but comes with double the suction, a key update that could improve how well it does its job.

The Robot Vacuum K11+ Pro measures the same 9.8 inches wide and 3.6 inches tall as the original K11+ but offers 12,000Pa suction, or double that of its predecessor. That was considered very high suction in a robot vacuum only a few years ago, and should mean better performance (although suction isn’t everything when it comes to robot vacuums). The K11+ Pro comes with a 3,500mAh battery, a 300mAh boost over the vanilla K11+, and features a 120-minute battery life, per specs listed on Amazon, versus the 150 minutes of the K11+.

That seems to be everything new for the adorably tiny K11+ Pro, which otherwise sounds like the same robovac as its predecessor. It features a tangle-resistant rubber roller brush, a two-prong spinning side brush for flicking debris into its path, and uses LDS for mapping and navigation. SwitchBot says it’s quiet, emitting 45 decibels while working, or about as quiet as a suburban home. It also self-empties into a dustbag that the company says will last up to 90 days before you have to swap it out.
