Stuffing an Xbox inside an alligator is the most Florida way ever to promote GTA VI

WTF?! It's not uncommon for game companies to create limited-edition hardware to commemorate the launch of a new game, and few releases are bigger than the upcoming arrival of Grand Theft Auto VI. But considering Sony owns the exclusive marketing rights to the game, Microsoft had to think outside the box with its latest promotion.

In an effort to create the most Florida thing ever, Microsoft commissioned creature animatronics specialists John Nolan Studio to build the Xbox Series X-Bite. Imagine an alligator swallowed an Xbox Series X whole, and you've got the idea.

The gator measures more than five feet long from snout to tail, with the console nestled snugly in the stomach cavity. The "alligator" was crafted using advanced 3D modeling, sculpting, and fabrication techniques, and looks every bit as realistic as something you would come across in the wild.

John Nolan Studio has worked on some of the biggest projects in television and film including Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, and The Witcher, among others. Microsoft said every detail was considered, from the texture and finish on the alligator itself down to the tiny details on the wireless controller. The console appears to be fully functional, although Microsoft notes it is best left as a display piece.

Microsoft is giving away this one-off gator, and there are three ways to enter: X, Instagram, or TikTok.

Microsoft said you will need to make sure your account is public so they can see your entry. Once a winner has been selected, they will have 48 hours to claim the prize; otherwise, someone else will be chosen.
