Srijan Realty aims to redefine residential living in Kolkata with the launch of Orizon

Srijan Realty, one of Eastern India’s most established residential developers, has announced the launch of Orizon, a 702-unit residential community spread across 8.3 acres off the Southern EM Bypass in Jagaddal, South Kolkata.

The launch arrives as the corridor completes a decade-long transformation from a peripheral suburb into one of the city’s most aspirational residential addresses, supported by expanding metro and suburban rail connectivity, dual EM Bypass access, and a maturing ecosystem of schools, hospitals and retail destinations.

Located on BC Roy Road in Jagaddal, with two access points off the Southern EM Bypass roughly 400 metres and 750 metres apart, Orizon comprises six high-rise towers ranging from 17 to 23 storeys, housing 702 three-bedroom residences sized between approximately 1,208 and 1,650 square feet.

Roughly 80% of the 8.3-acre site, 85% including podium-level landscaping, has been kept open, an unusually low-density ratio for a development of this scale so close to the city.

Shahid Khudiram Metro Station is roughly 14 minutes away, with Sonarpur railway station around 15 minutes; Spencer’s, Wood Square Mall and Southwinds Galleria are all within a six-minute drive.

Orizon’s design philosophy takes its name from the word “horizon”, built around the idea that space, light, and an unobstructed view are increasingly scarce commodities in a city that has grown denser over the past two decades.

Residences feature terrace-style and standing balconies intended to maximize natural light and cross-ventilation, while the project’s golden façade, visible from the EM Bypass, is conceived as a visual landmark along the corridor.
