Raise a Toast to These Smart Toaster Deals for Prime Day

If you're tired of burned or barely toasted bread, Prime Big Deal Days is popping up deals on smart toasters.

There’s an old joke about how the person who invented toast said, “Hey, you know how we bake bread? It tastes even better if we bake it twice!” They’re not lying. Toast makes breakfast better, sandwiches crunchier, and is the ideal delivery vehicle for those fancy jams you picked up in that quaint shop on your last vacation. But some toasters brown the bread so unevenly that it might not be toasted at all. Enter smart toasters, which are definitely a splurge, but take the guesswork out of nailing the perfect shade and crispness.

Revolution Cooking builds smart toasters with its patented InstaGlo heating technology. The company says it sears crispy edges into your bread while keeping the inside soft and tender.

If you’re hungry to try a smart toaster, Revolution is featuring numerous deals on its products during Prime Big Deal Days on Oct. 6-7. The company’s Connect smart toasters feature a touchscreen and auto-lift, while Connect Plus adds Wi-Fi connectivity and a customizable photo display.

And if panini-pressed sandwiches are your jam, Revolution makes a Toastie Press device (it looks like a guitar amp to me), which slips inside your toaster and lets you create gloriously messy sandwiches without wrecking your toaster with gloppy cheese everywhere.

CNET Editor Corin Ceseric-Epple reviewed the premium Revolution smart toaster and praised its ability to consistently reach promised brownness levels.
