‘Nocturne’: When to Watch Apple TV’s New Psychological Thriller

Stephen Graham, Liev Schreiber and Zazie Beetz stars in Apple's new must-see series. Here's how to watch.

Nocturne, the new crime series that hits Apple TV this week, is based on the internationally bestselling novel The Sandman, by Lars Kepler. The program delves into Western Pennsylvania’s criminal underbelly and features a stacked cast, including Stephen Graham, who made waves with his Netflix series Adolescence last year.

The thriller follows a homicide detective whose personal life is turned upside down when his family becomes the target of a serial killer named Jurek Walter (played by Graham). Liev Schreiber, Zazie Beetz, Bill Camp, Rory Culkin, Chrissy Metz, Poorna Jagannathan and Gary Carr round out the cast.

Read on for more information about how to watch Nocturne and how a VPN can help.

Nocturne will premiere its first two episodes, titled Lazarus, Come Forth! and For Such a Time as This, on Friday, Oct. 30 on Apple TV.

It’s worth noting that while not guaranteed, Apple TV regularly drops new episodes of its shows at 9 p.m. ET the night before their scheduled premieres. Plus, sometimes the streamer surprises audiences by dropping highly anticipated episodes early. We’ll keep an eye out and update this accordingly if that happens.

To watch Nocturne, you’ll need a subscription to Apple TV. The service has increased its price by $2, bringing it to $15 per month after a seven-day free trial. Apple TV comes included in an Apple One subscription, which includes Apple Music, Apple Arcade and iCloud storage.
