Apparently, even astronauts aboard the International Space Station aren’t immune to FOMO over one of the year’s most talked-about movies.
A24, the studio behind You Can See Everything, posted an image on Instagram Wednesday showing a scene from the film beneath what appears to be a cropped screenshot of an email with the subject line reading, “FWD: [EXTERNAL] NASA Request for Private Viewing.”
“Request granted. You Can See Everything coming soon to @ISS,” the post’s caption reads.
The announcement comes as the documentary has become a surprise box-office hit and cultural phenomenon.
You Can See Everything debuted in U.S. theaters on Oct. 16, earning $15.6 million during its opening weekend. That made it the second-biggest opening for a non-concert documentary in history, behind only Michael Moore’s “Fahrenheit 9/11.”
The film continued its strong performance, becoming the number one movie at the domestic box office this past weekend. Through Sunday, it had earned roughly $64.7 million domestically.
Directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, the nearly three-hour documentary begins by following disgraced Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes during the 34 days before she started serving her federal prison sentence in 2023.
Holmes, in case anyone needs a refresher, was once hailed as Silicon Valley’s next big thing. She founded Theranos, a health technology startup that promised to revolutionize medical testing with devices that could perform a wide range of blood tests using just a few drops of blood. At its peak, it had raised more than $700 million in investments and was valued at roughly $9 billion .
