It’s not even Halloween, but McDonald’s is just days away from dropping its new holiday menu. And this year, it includes a number of seasonal beverages, just like Starbucks’ popular annual holiday offerings.
McDonald’s is putting its host of festive drinks on the menu on Tuesday, November 3—as well as a new $8 meal deal, arriving one day before.
On Tuesday, the fast-food giant drops five new seasonal beverages: Frosted Cranberry Splash with Sprite, two versions of the Red Bull Frosted Cranberry Energizer, and two kinds of Cookie Butter Frappés.
That means between McDonald’s and Starbucks, consumers will have their choice of holiday drinks. As Fast Company recently reported, Starbucks’ highly anticipated lineup includes two new seasonal drinks—Apple Pomegranate Refresher and Tiramisu Velvet—alongside classics like Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, Sugar Cookie Latte, and Gingerbread Chai.
McDonald’s’ Frosted Cranberry Splash is made from Sprite infused with orange and cranberry flavors, featuring cold foam and cranberry sprinkles; the Red Bull Frosted Cranberry Energizer is a cranberry flavored pick-me-up with cold foam and sprinkles, which comes in two ways, with original Red Bull or Red Bull Zero; and the Cookie Butter Frappé is a creamy blended drink with a cookie butter flavor, topped with caramel cookie crumbs and sweet vanilla whip.
All the drinks are available for a limited time in select cities.
Also, starting Monday, November 2, the fast-food chain will offer an $8 quarter pounder and cheese meal deal , with medium fries and a drink, at participating locations.
