THR reports Samara Weaving has joined the cast of Naughty, the upcoming “holiday-comedy” from director Olivia Wilde described as “Bridesmaids in the North Pole.” Co-starring Jennifer Aniston, Peter Dinklage, Chase Sui Wonders, Regina Hall, and Ike Barinholtz, the story concerns “a mother (Aniston), whose only hope of securing custody of her son from her gaslighting trash-bag ex is to find Santa Claus (Peter Dinklage) and convince him to testify in her divorce hearing.”

Deadline also reports Cory Michael Smith has joined the cast of Ari Aster’s mysterious Scapegoat in a currently undisclosed role.

During a recent interview with Collider, Jack O’Connell revealed he’s playing Cillian Murphy’s brother in A Quiet Place Part III.

A Quiet Place was, that felt like family. It’s about family, obviously. Got John Krasinski and Emily Blunt involved, and Cillian and I play brothers. There was a real familial feel to that one. It was cool, man. But horror’s popping off. People are turning out for horror. So it’s great. Yeah, it’s amazing.

According to insider Daniel Richtman (via Dread Central ), Patrick Scott McDermott, Dominic Bogart, Mila Hayhurst, and Holly Hayhurst are attached to star in Dylan Clark’s upcoming Blair Witch movie.
