Halloween Streaming Guide: Where to Watch All Your Favorite Horror Hits

Dive into all the creepiness you can handle in a movie or TV show -- even titles you can stream for free.

Though some of you may celebrate spooky season year-round, streaming services have poured into Halloween all month, dropping new and old horror titles for your binge sessions. This year brings fresh TV shows like Carrie (Prime Video) and Crystal Lake (Peacock), along with some classic movies and the latest theatrical releases.

This year, Halloween falls on a Saturday, but you can treat yourself to the scaries all week long with streaming collections from HBO Max, Paramount Plus, Pluto TV and more. Vampires, zombies, serial killers, slashers and other big bads await you, and we’re giving you a small taste of where to find some of the creepiest series and movies available right now.

Dexter: Resurrection is back with its second season, premiering on Paramount Plus on Oct. 30. This outing sees Dexter (Michael C. Hall) grappling with a midlife crisis along with two other killers. See him alongside returning cast members such as Uma Thurman, Jack Alcott, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine and Kadia Saraf.

The streaming service also rolled out its horror-heavy Peak Collection, which includes eight Friday the 13th films and haunting movies such as Rosemary’s Baby, Smile 2, 28 Days Later, Shutter Island, The Ring and Parasite. Take a look at newer film releases on the platform, too, like Scary Movie 6 or Luc Besson’s Dracula, which stars Caleb Landry Jones, Christoph Waltz and Zoë Bleu.
