Google’s latest Nest Learning Thermostat is a steal with new limited-time deal

It’s time to upgrade my old Nest Thermostat to the latest 4th-gen model, and the bundle even includes a fancy new Nest Temperature Sensor (2nd gen), all for a new low price of $219!

Google’s most gorgeous thermostat is ready to get you saving money this winter, and I don’t just mean because of this great deal. If you have an older Nest thermostat or have been looking to upgrade to Nest this year, now’s the ideal time thanks to this $60-off Nest Thermostat 4th-gen deal.

This is the lowest price we’ve seen in a bit for the latest thermostat in Google’s lineup, nearly matching last year’s Black Friday low, and it also includes a Nest Temperature Sensor (2nd gen) that you can put somewhere else in your home to help the thermostat better regulate the temperature across your house. Ideally, this sensor would go in a room that’s always hotter or colder than the rest of the house (we all have one of those, right?).

Google launched the 4th-gen Nest Learning Thermostat in fall 2024 after a solid decade of no hardware updates to the “Learning Thermostat” line. My particular 3rd-gen Learning Thermostat came out way back in 2015, and while Google has been good about supporting it over the years, I imagine the clock is ticking for end-of-life support pretty soon. The first two generations lost support in 2025.

The new design is doggone gorgeous, with a very Pixel Watch-like design that comes in three fantastic colors: Silver, Gold, and Obsidian.
