Coming to Apple TV in November: A New Season of ‘Stick,’ ‘Being Heumann’ and More

A fan favorite series plus several new shows and movies are hitting Apple TV this month.

Apple TV holds the distinction of being one of the only streaming services to offer only original content on its platform: You won’t find a rotating library of blockbusters and classic sitcoms there. Instead, you’ll get a tightly curated collection of interesting content for kids and adults alike. That includes shows such as Widow’s Bay, Severance and Slow Horses and movies such as F1: The Movie — all produced by and for Apple.

Because Apple’s content collection is thoughtfully curated, it doesn’t release as many titles each month as some of its competitors, but what it does put out always piques our interest.

One of the platform’s great new original shows of the past year, Stick, returns this month for season 2. The Owen Wilson-led sports dramedy is back on Nov. 4. Another buzzy title that we can’t wait to see is Being Heumann, the new film from Oscar-winning writer-director Sian Heder. The film is based on the true events of a 1977 sit-in led by disability rights activist Judy Heumann, played by British actress Ruth Madeley. Also arriving this month are the new bank heist series 12 12 12 and Way of the Warrior Kid, a heartfelt family-friendly film starring Chris Pratt and Linda Cardellini and directed by McG.

These are just some of the new releases arriving on the platform.
