The subscription will bundle cloud project syncing with expanded AI assistant access, but Meta still hasn't said what it costs or when creators can actually buy it.
Meta has released new details about Edits Plus, its paid subscription tier for the Edits video editing app, confirming that paying users will receive 200GB of cloud storage and increased access to AI tools, but the company is still withholding both pricing and an availability date.
The subscription will unlock additional cloud storage and AI usage, and will be available to Instagram personal or professional creator accounts through the Edits mobile app, according to information shared by Meta and reported by Social Media Today.
The headline feature is 200GB of cloud storage, allowing users to sync, back up and offload projects across devices on the same platform, such as between iOS devices or between Android devices.
The plan also includes more usage of the Edits assistant, which analyses Instagram insights and helps users brainstorm new ideas. The assistant has been rolling out to Edits users in the US since late September, where it currently operates with a daily prompt limit for free users. Meta has not said how much extra usage subscribers will receive.
Meta has not yet shared pricing information, and the package will be launched in limited testing soon.
Meta previewed the subscription in mid-September as part of its broader Meta One offering, which bundles paid features across Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Meta AI.
