The company’s updated analytics are designed to help creators access more monetization opportunities and better understand post metrics.
LinkedIn shared some new insights into its latest performance analytics options, which will provide more insight into what’s working and what’s not within each user’s content approach.
Last month, as part of a broader update of its creator tools, LinkedIn announced an updated profile insights dashboard, with more data on content performance and monetization opportunities.
On Tuesday, LinkedIn Director of Product, Content Sam Corrao Clannon shared some additional insights into how the new analytics elements will function, and how they’ll help creators maximize in-app opportunities.
In terms of presentation, LinkedIn's added a new Post Performance Table, which displays post info and key performance metrics together in one listing.
As shown in this example image, the new table shows each post’s impressions, views and watch time stats in one view. Corrao Clannon said this will make it easier for users to compare key performance metrics “without needing to open the analytics for each one of your posts individually.”
Corrao Clannon said that LinkedIn will be assessing how these new metrics are being used by creators as the company assesses the next steps to improve creator experience.
LinkedIn is also developing new creator monetization options as it works to drive more engagement in the feed.
