Xbox is no stranger to strange marketing stunts over the years, but the gaming giant's latest promotion featuring the Xbox Series X is definitely one of the most unique we've ever seen. Initially announced on the official XboxWire account on X, the "Xbox Series X-Bite" itself is an incredibly detailed replica of an alligator that has swallowed a Series X, with the power button poking out of its back.
Although Xbox didn't specify what the promotion was explicitly for, it was heavily implied to be a tie-in advertisement for Grand Theft Auto 6 releasing later this month. While you won't be able to buy the leathery one-of-one console for yourself, Xbox shared that the X-Bite system would be given away entirely for free as a part of their newest sweepstakes.
While the quality of the alligator itself looks incredibly lifelike in photos, no animals were harmed in the making of the massive console measuring over five feet in length, as it was 3D modeled and sculpted by creature designer John Nolan Studio, who has worked on animatronics and other models for The Witcher, Jurassic World Dominion, and more.
If you're interested and have the space for the one-of-a-kind console yourself, all you have to do is follow Xbox on any of its social media accounts and repost their related sweepstakes announcement with #XbiteSweepstakes to enter for a chance to win. Ending on 11:59 PM PST on November 10th, the winner will have 48 hours to claim their reward before it goes to the next person.
