Xbox Game Pass Adds It First Day-One Game for November 2026

Gravhounds has become the first day-one Xbox Game Pass addition of November 2026. The co-op action builder entered Game Preview on November 2, giving Xbox Game Pass subscribers access to the debut title from a small team of industry veterans.

Octopus Panic first unveiled Gravhounds during Gamescom Opening Night Live in August 2026, when it also announced its November 2 release date and day-one Xbox Game Pass availability. The seven-person studio operating out of Sweden is made up of developers whose past credits include Battlefield, The Saboteur, Halo, Def Jam: Fight for NY, Star Wars, and Full Spectrum Warrior.

A much-anticipated new entry in a long-running series is now officially confirmed to be launching on Xbox Game Pass on January 27, 2027.

Gravhounds arrived on Xbox Game Pass at 12 p.m. ET on November 2, marking the service's first arrival for the month. It is playable on Xbox Series X/S and PC, as well as via the recently revamped Xbox Cloud Gaming platform. The title ships with Xbox Play Anywhere certification, allowing purchases and save data to carry seamlessly between Xbox consoles and Windows PCs.

Octopus Panic describes Gravhounds as a "co-op action builder" designed for one to four players. The game follows bio-engineered canine workers stranded far from home and dispatched by their AI supervisor, COSMO, to complete jobs across hostile planets. Each mission centers on setting up an operation, gathering resources, completing objectives, and escaping as enemy pressure mounts, with players able to build pipelines, generators, turrets, and fabricators along the way.
