Where to Turn In Prayer Beads in Phantom Blade Zero

As you explore the numerous regions of Phantom Blade Zero, you will find key items linked to main story quests, side quests, and NPC interactions. One such item is the Prayer Beads, which you can acquire in Weeping Creek Valley and turn in shortly afterward in the Village of Lu. This guide covers where to find the necessary NPC and how your dialogue choice affects the outcome.

Here's how to unlock the optional Crimson Manor and discover the secret boss hidden inside Phantom Blade Zero.

After completing the second region, Crimson Forest, you will make your way to the Village of Lu. If you return to the Outpost Bell in Weeping Creek Valley, you will find that the NPCs have turned into enemies, with some even fighting each other. You will also notice the western side of Outpost is now accessible.

Deal with the hostile guards, then check on the NPCs in the area. Afterward, head down the path to find the Monk and the shopkeeper. The Monk has a very sturdy Sha-Chi bar, so you will need to use a heavy two-handed weapon or the Dread Axe Phantom Edge to deal with him. Once you defeat the Monk, he will drop the Prayer Beads.

With the Prayer Beads in your possession, progress through the Village of Lu and head to the northeastern part of the region, where you can find the Survivors' Courtyard Bell. There are a couple of NPCs here, along with a Monk standing near a tree.
