Blizzard is taking a new approach to the Classic scene with World of Warcraft: Forever, offering players a reimagined version of Azeroth that builds on the foundations of the original game. Whether you're a returning veteran or stepping into the world for the first time, there's plenty to look forward to. World of Warcraft: Forever officially launches on November 4, 2026, with a simultaneous global release.

As announced by Blizzard, World of Warcraft: Forever is getting massive race changes.

WoW: Forever launches globally on November 4 at 3:00 PM PST. This is a simultaneous worldwide release, meaning the servers will go live at the same time for players across every region. However, the local release date and time will vary depending on where you live.

Players should also prepare for potentially lengthy login queues when the servers go live. With so many players expected to jump into Azeroth at launch, you might have to wait before getting into the game.

Access to World of Warcraft: Forever is included with an active World of Warcraft subscription or Game Time. However, players can purchase optional upgrade packs to unlock additional rewards, cosmetics, and other benefits. Here is everything included in each edition.
