What You Need to Know About Roco Kingdom, the Creature-Collecting Sensation Going Global

In the brand new free-to-play game Roco Kingdom, developed by Tencent’s Morefun Studios, you journey through the bright, colorful world of Carosiaas a Roco, a mage from the magic academy, who sets off on an adventure to collect Jinies. These Jinies are magical creatures that are native to Carosia, and there are a ton of different Jinies roaming the land. Morefun’s closed beta test is currently ongoing, and players are already experiencing what the magical world of Carosia and all that Roco Kingdom has to offer.

There are so many different kinds of Jinies to collect in Roco Kingdom, in fact, there’ll be 212 unique Jinies to find in the test, though you can expect hundreds more to come with the full launch of the game. There’s Vargheim, a wolflike Jini with tough claws and fur that acts as natural armor; Cluckchamp, a warrior chicken; Bluffa, a sweet yet feisty battling bear; and Duckiji, a super soft duck who has a penchant for spotting shiny objects around Carosia.

Though some Jinies look similar, every single Jini you encounter in Roco Kingdom is unique. That’s because each Jini varies in talents, personality types, height, weight, color, and specialities. Two Bluffas could be entirely different, with one having a stubborn personality (which means they have higher physical attack abilities), the other Bluffa could possess a cheerful personality, marked by their distinct smile. Jinies also have their own innate and unique specialities, like Shared Ride, which allows a Jini to carry you on its back as you explore, or Sharer, which can trigger bonus drops when using that Jini.
