VR Heist Shooter Payday: Aces High Running Free October Playtest

Fast Travel Games is holding an open playtest for its upcoming co-op VR heist shooter Payday: Aces High on October 19. Anyone who joins will get an exclusive Kitty Mask as a reward for participation.

This playtest will be for both Quest and Steam players. James Tocchio and I participated in the limited-time August preview build and came away very impressed with Aces High overall.

Payday: Aces High Could Be The Next Go-To VR Shooter To Play With Friends

We went hands-on with Fast Travel Games’ Payday: Aces High, and we think it could be the next go-to VR shooter to play with friends.

That preview just included the base tutorial and first heist of the game. The October 19 playtests will have two heists available for you to test. For clarity, the full game will launch with six heists and more to be added before the end of 2026.

For Quest players, you need to sign up for the playtest build here .

For Steam players, a public demo will be made available on the game's Steam page, so simply wishlist the game and you will get a notification when that demo goes live.

Anyone, like James and me, who participated in the August closed playtest will need to sign up again for October.
