The action RPG Phantom Blade Zero is out October 29 (we gave it a 9/10 in our review). Releasing alongside it are the new Viture Phantom Beast XR Glasses, available for $599 at Viture and IGN Store. This new edition of Viture’s flagship virtual display glasses adds a Phantom Blade Zero theme and it comes with a handful of exclusive accessories. Let’s take a look.
The glasses offer all the same features as standard Viture Beast XR glasses, but with Phantom Blade Zero styling all over the place. The glasses themselves feature black and red imagery inspired by the game. They come with an intricate removable strap, and a scabbard-style case, among other items. Preorders are live now, and if you buy before November 5, you’ll also receive a limited collector’s edition game map.
If you’re not familiar with Viture’s Beast XR Glasses, here’s how they work. First, you connect them to a device like a game console, phone, PC, or handheld gaming device. Then you put them on, and you’ll see a massive virtual display in front of you that effectively looks like a 174-inch screen. You can use this virtual display to play games, watch movies, or do work. And because the glasses are portable, you can use them pretty much anywhere becuase you don't have to lug a huge display with you.
They’re compatible with all sorts of devices, including all the major game consoles (PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 1/2), plus Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android, and SteamOS.
