Tubi Hidden Horror Gems for Halloween 2026

HBO might have prestige horror shows like IT: Welcome to Derry, and Apple might be packed full of new horror movies to rent, but don't ignore Tubi. It's a haunted attic of scary movies, provided you're willing to do a little digging through its intimidatingly massive library. From underappreciated slashers and deeply unsettling psychological thrillers to the sort of gloriously unhinged genre oddities that make you wonder how they ever got made, there's plenty lurking within the streamer’s catalogue. So, in the spirit of spooky season, we've done the digging for you and rounded up some of the best hidden horror gems you can stream on Tubi this Halloween 2026. Best of all? They're all completely free to watch.

Three men walk into a creepy church. Not the start of a bad joke, but the premise of a slow-build, deeply unnerving little British movie involving the investigation of a reported miracle. At first, it seems like fairly standard found-footage fodder, but then a sheep is set on fire, the sound of a baby crying echoes through the church, and suddenly there's talk of old pagan rituals. Even then, there's no way you'll predict the ending, which I can still, unfortunately, vividly recall years after seeing it.

This documentary-style movie about one man's grandmother and the entity, Sator, that she speaks to is unsettling in the best way, and well worth a watch for that. What makes it even more compelling is the backstory behind it . Filmmaker Jordan Graham based the story around his own family history and a being called Sator that his real-life grandmother had spoken about throughout her life.
