The publishing division of Tripwire Interactive seeks to broaden its initiative with a focus on smaller games with scaled support.
Tripwire Presents, the publishing division of Embracer subsidiary Tripwire Interactive, has announced an initiative to publish more games from smaller developers with a level of support that scales to the smaller size. The new initiative within Tripwire Present's already existing structure will "include scaled publishing support of smaller independent developers to help connect players with a curated selection of quality-proven indie titles spanning different genres and platforms."
Tripwire states that the new program leverages the company's existing relationships with storefronts and platforms, knowledge of executing on promotional calendars, guidance on pricing and sales, and other aspects of publishing.
"Tripwire Presents is starting this new program to give additional visibility to great self-published indie games that we feel Tripwire fans will absolutely love," says Bryan West, Publishing Director at Tripwire Presents. "These titles are from scrappy developers who have done the hard work of both creating and promoting a game themselves. We want to shine a spotlight on these gems to help each of them reach a broader audience."
The new initiative launches with a set of five games, shown in a YouTube video uploaded by Tripwire Interactive . The games include The Boss Gangster: Criminal Empire , Starforged Legacy , One-Eyed Likho , Eslabong , and Mars Attracts —an attraction management simulator based on the Mars Attacks movie license.
