This Massive 70" 4K Fire TV Drops to a Mere $299.99 With Free Delivery Ahead of Black Friday

Ahead of Black Friday, Best Buy is offering the lowest price I've seen this year for a massive (70" or higher) TV. For this week only, you can pick up the 70" Insignia F50 4K Fire TV for just $299.99 with free shipping. It's sold and shipped by Best Buy direct, not a marketplace vendor, and comes with a 1 year warranty.

As far as TVs are concerned, my rule of thumb is bigger is better as long as you have enough space. If you're on a budget and want the best bang for your buck, screen size will nearly always make a bigger impression than any other feature. The Insignia F50 is a void-filling 70" TV featuring a native 4K 60Hz display with HDR10 and HLG support and built-in Fire TV.

This is a solid TV for PlayStation 5 gaming despite the fact that it doesn't have a native 120Hz refresh rate. Unless you're rocking a PS5 Pro, the vast majority of games can't push past 60fps. Playing Grand Theft Auto 6 on a 70" TV, for example, will be a much more profound real-world experience than playing it on a 120Hz TV. Likewise, the Insignia F50 is a great TV for Nintendo Switch gamers because the Switch 2 only supports 60Hz at 4K in docked mode.

For the amount you save compared to getting a higher end TV, you could buy yourself a ton of video games and maybe even another console. For many (probably most) people, that's money better spent.
