The LEGO Icons Project Hail Mary Set Gets Its First Discount During Big Deal Days

Project Hail Mary was one of 2026's biggest movies, and with its March release came an impressively detailed LEGO recreation of the space shuttle seen in the film. If you've been waiting for a price cut to buy this one, Prime Big Deal Days is your chance to snag it at its first-ever discounted price. The set is down to $69.99 from its $99.99 original sticker price.

The 830-piece is a super detailed and to-scale recreation of the Project Hail Mary ship we see in the film. The exterior is an efficiently-crafted space shuttle with nice gray and gold accents to help it pop, and it comes with a display stand and Dr. Grace and Rocky minifigures. But the real draw, which makes it one of my favorite builds of the year, is the crank mechanism to extend the centrifuge out of the main ship and spin like it does in space. No batteries or electronics needed, just good old fashioned intuitive LEGO design.

I had the opportunity to put the set together for IGN when it released. Be sure to check that out for a full walkthrough of the build, where you can also find the crank mechanism in action. It took me a few hours to put together fully, so it's the perfect build to rewatch the movie or on a rainy day. The brick-built Rocky figure is simple and elegant, and is a fun recreation of his expressiveness from the movie.

This is the only LEGO Project Hail Mary set released so far and will likely be the last.
