The Best Steam-Exclusive of the Year Is Finally Coming to Consoles

The IGF-winning Titanium Court comes to PS5, Switch, and mobile this month

Titanium Court, winner of the Seumas McNally Grand Prize at this year’s Independent Game Festival, is coming to more platforms following its Windows PC release in April. The indie hit will launch on Oct. 29 for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PlayStation 5. A mobile version is also coming to Android and iPhone.

Created by developer AP Thomson, Titanium Court is a bit hard to describe. It’s a cross between a roguelike, a tower defense game, a match-three puzzler, and an old school PC adventure game, all wrapped in an absurd story with some Shakespearean undertones. You play as a character who is whisked off to a kingdom of faeries in the midst of a war. To protect the kingdom, you need to manage an ever-shifting battlefield by repositioning your defenses and collecting resources by matching tiles.

Titanium Court was a hit when it launched in April, earning an 85 aggregate score on Metacritic and proving to be a financial hit for indie publisher Fellow Traveller. With the game expanding to more platforms beyond PC, it could stand to have a crucial second wind ahead of awards season.

Before it even launched, Titanium Court had some major accolades to its name. It was a big winner at this year’s Independent Game Fest, winning both the award for Excellence in Design and the Seumas McNally Grand Prize, a top honor for indie games. It was a history-making win, as AP Thomson became the first developer to win the Seumas McNally award two years in a row: Thomson also won it in 2025 for Consume Me , which he co-developed with Jenny Jiao Hsia.
