Target Black Friday Leak Reveals Big Deals for Pokémon TCG Fans

Target expected to offer a wide range of Pokémon 30th Anniversary products in November

It may not be November yet, but retailers are already planning how they'll handle the year's biggest shopping event: Black Friday. Target has offered Black Friday deals on the Pokémon trading card game in previous years, and 2026 looks to be no different.

The news is sourced from leaked internal Target communications shared by restock influencer BritBrat, who has a strong track record of reporting the retailer's TCG plans. Target locations are expected to receive shipments of the following products starting on Nov. 15:

The last item on the list likely refers to the upcoming Mew and Mewtwo Figure Collections, which are scheduled to drop on Nov. 6 alongside the much-hyped 30th Anniversary Ultra Premium Collection. Indeed, the leaked image of the apparent display for these Black Friday releases features a lower section with boxes that match the appearance of those specific products. The portable shelves also advertise Pokémon's Electronic Dance Music event, which still has a couple of dates left on the calendar.

The 30th Anniversary TCG products won't be put up for sale until Nov. 27, which is Black Friday proper. So far, it doesn't seem like these products will be cheaper than they normally are. That's in contrast to last year, when Target offered two Pokémon TCG exclusive bundles for a decent price. Though Target charges a markup for its Pokémon TCG products, its prices are cheaper than some competitors and not more prone to price fluctuations than retailers like GameStop.
