Steam Is Having an Early Black Friday Sale on Digital Board Games Right Now

As much as many of us would love to be able to just snap our fingers and a table full of our friends eager and willing to play board games would simply appear, reality doesn’t allow that to happen. As the tabletop industry has blossomed and grown in popularity the past number of years, making digital versions of beloved games has taken off as well. And right now, Steam users have the perfect chance to stock their digital Kallax shelves with some amazing deals on digital cardboard.

Lasting until November 15, Steam is currently running the Digital Tabletop Fest - hosted by Nomad Games & Monster Couch. The sale features a wealth of these digital adaptations but if you are more of a physical-only type of player, check out our 2026 Black Friday page for more upcoming sale dates.

Take a quick peek through the shelves of the sale and you will find some wonderful offerings, including some that we have featured on our “Best of” lists. New games like Monster Couch’s Flamecraft (featured on our Best Board Games for Teens list ) is not only a beautiful title but is a personal favorite with some great resource management and workplace gameplay. Other standouts that we recommend you check out include Dune Imperium (one of our favorite deck-building games) and Root (Best War Board Games of 2025).

With over 120 titles on discount, and also some previews of big upcoming ones like the digital versions of Stonemeier Games’ Wyrmspan, HeroQuest, and Twilight Imperium, you and your friends are bound to find a new game to suck up your time.
