Steam Autumn Sale's Best Deals Are Giving One of Resident Evil's Biggest Years an Encore

Steam's Autumn Sale is underway, featuring a myriad of titles both new and old at affordable prices. Steam's autumnal sale event is taking place now through October 8, with deals on games from all genres, from horror to RPG. This has given me a great opportunity to try something new I have been putting off or snag some of my old favorite games at half the price. The platform's sales section includes beloved indie games, along with larger AAA titles from companies like Ubisoft and IO Interactive.

For big fans of Resident Evil like myself, though, Capcom titles are one of the sale's biggest draws. Some of the developer's greatest hits in the survival horror franchise are marked down to a whopping 80% off. With spooky season fully underway, now is the best time to try out a Resident Evil game without breaking the bank. Resident Evil is a survival horror gem and a must-play that fans of all things scary cannot pass up, especially at these prices.

Capcom's Resident Evil has produced many great horror games over the years, but some are a bit better than others.

Capcom has been having an impeccable past few years, with hit release after hit release. From remake to new mainline title, Resident Evil 's impact on the survival horror genre has been monumental. That can't be stressed enough. Well-known for curating some of the scariest moments possible, Resident Evil has shaped a generation of gamers, giving them lifelong nightmares since 1996.
