Star Wars Zero Company Just Released Update 1.2

Star Wars Zero Company received its biggest update to date with the newly released patch 1.2, addressing bugs and issues, while making some balance changes and adding a massive new feature for players to experiment with. It's been a wild rollercoaster for the team at Bit Reactor, experiencing the downs of being furloughed prior to launch, while Star Wars Zero Company quickly went on to become a major success.

For many players, the biggest piece of Update 1.2 will be the addition of the special Campaign Modifiers feature. While the campaign missions in Star Wars Zero Company let players tackle them how they see fit, being able to customize their squad, ability, and tactics, the Campaign Modifiers take things to another level. Essentially, the modifiers can be thought of as additional rules, giving players more customizable options to add more challenge or just change how the game plays out. The modifiers are available on any difficulty level through the Difficulty Settings option once the tutorial is completed, and, better yet, Bit Reactor is planning to add more modifiers over time.

By default, players have plenty of options available, including modifying Injury Limits, changing the risk of death, Health progression, and more. While the risk of death is off by default, players can now enable it, with the risk of death increasing by 20% each time a character is downed. Operators that sustain an injury during combat can also be given a strike, which players can set to a specific number at which point they'll be permanently killed.
