Star Wars Zero Company developer Bit Reactor begins bringing furloughed staff back
One source says more than half of the pre-furlough team is now back on the payroll
Star Wars Zero Company developer Bit Reactor has started bringing back staff it furloughed ahead of the game's launch.
In a statement shared on Bluesky , CEO Greg Foertsch said the studio "started the process of returning more of our team back to work" this week, but stopped short of confirming how many people are returning.
Foertsch said asking staff to step away was "an incredibly difficult decision" that followed "unexpected business developments outside of our control," but was necessary to "eventually bring as many people back as possible."
