STALKER 2: Compass Legendary Artifact Locations (Best Places to Visit & Farm)

Compass is a legendary artifact in STALKER 2 that players can get from gravitational anomaly fields. Any place that has a high concentration of Vortexes and Whirligigs has a small chance of having a Compass appear.

However, the drop rate for legendary artifacts is very low, and it will take several in-game days before anomaly fields are refreshed with new artifacts. In this STALKER 2 guide, we'll be showing you some good spots to farm for the Compass artifact as well as a trick that can cut down the time it takes to get one significantly.

Here's a list of all the unique weapons added to Stalker 2 as part of the Cost of Hope DLC and how to get them.

You can potentially get a Compass before you even leave the Lesser Zone by going to Deaf Meadow, a Vortex field near the spot where you meet Yurko Fantomas, a potential quest giver. Deaf Meadow is found in the northeastern end of this region, directly east of the Radiation Hazard Signs Storage POI. If you fail to get a Compass in Deaf Meadow, go to the Ribs southeast of Zalissya.

Once you've hit both of the previously-mentioned anomaly spots, you can then proceed to the Zaton region and look for the Izumrudne and Claw POIs. Scour the areas for their artifacts, and with any luck, you should be able to get a Compass without having to travel extreme distances across the Zone.

In previous versions of the game, you could stand roughly 150 meters away from a POI, save your game, then check if the POI has the artifact you want .
