Every time I open X, there's a new mod that puts one game inside another game. The novelty has completely worn off. The joy of bunny-hopping through Jak and Daxter with a crowbar, knowing that a sleep-deprived hobbyist with the same niche crossover in taste as me had spent hours upon hours making this bizarre concoction work seamlessly was like watching the Sistine Chapel finish construction. The unending sewage pipe of vibecoded slop churned out with tokens doesn't have that same magic. So, when people put Leon inside of Elden Ring or Master Chief into Modern Warfare 2, it just isn't exciting anymore. It's apathy in a prompt.
