Solo Leveling is an incredibly popular story and is known all over the world, largely down to its main character, Sung Jinwoo. Over the years, Jinwoo has proven to be the heart and soul of the series, with his journey from being the weakest Hunter to a powerful, god-level being taking the world by storm.
With that being said, Jinwoo isn't the only main character in the Solo Leveling universe. In the sequel to the original Solo Leveling, that is, Solo Leveling: Ragnarok, a new main character takes the lead. This new main character is named Sung Suho, and he is Jinwoo's own son. Suho’s story took a break in January 2026, but finally, after a long wait, the Ragnarok manhwa is officially returning with a third season. Suho is taking the spotlight once more from his father, with new, exciting arcs adapting the remainder of the novel by Daul.
Solo Leveling has cemented itself as the most popular manhwa series globally. Its original novel was already popular, and its manhwa gained a lot of traction, but it's with its anime series, adapted by Aniplex and A-1 Pictures, that it garnered global traction like never before. The overwhelming popularity of the anime after its debut in 2024 has boosted interest in the series, and because of that, fans all over the world are incredibly excited when new information is unveiled concerning the Solo Leveling franchise.
When it comes to the Solo Leveling sequel manhwa, titled Solo Leveling Ragnarok, the series has been on hiatus since January 7, 2026 .
