Solo Leveling: Karma is right around the corner. This video game, based on the lore crafted by Chugong, promises a new story arc covering the previously mysterious epilogue of Solo Leveling, known as the 27-Year Monarch War. This war was always known to mainly revolve around Jinwoo and the Monarchs.
However, Karma promised big reveals concerning the Itarim, the Outer Gods of the Solo Leveling world. Sadly, in a new Q&A, it's been confirmed that it is no longer the case. The Emissary of the Itarim have been scrapped, and Jinwoo is no longer getting his powers from the Outer Gods. Instead, the Monarchs are again put in full focus as the Itarim take the back seat. While not as much as previously promised, Karma will still deliver some new updates on the Outer Gods one way or another, as seen with the introduction of characters like Azarea.
Solo Leveling: Karma is an exciting project first unveiled during Anime Expo 2025. It set itself up to be the most promising Solo Leveling game ever, even greater than the likes of Solo Leveling: Arise and Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive. Produced by Netmarble Studio, this new game is set to be playable on both PC and Mobile. The game will first be released in 2026 in Japan and South Korea, and an international release is expected right after.
For many of us fans, it isn't exactly the gameplay of Solo Leveling Karma that we're interested in. Instead, the main highlight is the exciting story that Karma promises.
