Riot has recently released one of its most anticipated Riftbound sets with the K/DA Couture Collection, bringing the fan-favorite virtual idol group into the game with some gorgeous new designs. Unfortunately, the set that should have been a surefire win for the up-and-coming trading card game has already been leaving fans disappointed by not being able to buy the Couture Collection without relying on scalpers.
While reselling is nothing new for the industry at this point, the hype behind the Couture Collection has led to the set being scalped for over three times MSRP on sites like eBay, leaving fans stuck between paying egregious prices or waiting for the incredibly unlikely chance of a reprint at some point in the future.
Initially listed at $150 on the official Riot Games merch store, the now out-of-stock set is now fetching prices of up to $500 on eBay, with over a dozen listings supposedly selling around the $350-$450 range, although the legitimacy of these sales hasn't been confirmed yet. While the popularity of the set combined with the limited drop makes it not too surprising that it would have sold out already, especially when combined with the low chances of its draw system.
Riftbound has had a great year, and Radiance is the perfect way to cap off 2026 and leave players looking forward to what's next.
Rather than buying the cards outright, you needed to have signed up for registration between October 27 and October 30th, after which participants were emailed a code today that would let them buy the set for themselves within 24 hours.
